Characteristics
The fluid enters from the inlet end of the filter and flows through the flanged y strainer. Here, the fluid must pass through a filter to flow out from the outlet end. Solid impurities in fluids, such as rust, sediment, pipeline debris, scale, etc., are intercepted on the inner wall or bottom of the filter due to their particle size being larger than the filter aperture. The clean fluid flows out through the filter and enters downstream equipment.

Advantages
1. Compact structure and small space occupation:
The Y-shaped design allows it to adapt well to straight pipe sections, especially suitable for installation positions with limited space.
2. Low pressure drop and strong flow capacity:
In a clean state, the flow channel is smooth and has little impact on system pressure loss.
3. Easy and fast maintenance:
Most designs allow for online maintenance. Simply close the inlet and outlet valves, open the cover, and remove the filter screen for cleaning or replacement without disassembling the entire filter body.

Packing
Standard export wooden case packaging

Application Scenarios
The cast iron strainer widely used in municipal water supply, installed in front of the building's inlet main pipeline and irrigation system, filters sediment.
