Adopting a clamp type structure, it can be directly clamped between two pipeline flanges without the need for additional long-distance installation space. Compared with flange connected check valves, it greatly reduces the overall space occupied by the pipeline system, especially suitable for narrow installation conditions.
The valve body flow channel is mostly designed with streamlined design, and the valve disc is lightweight (commonly double disc or single plate structure). The required medium thrust for opening is small, and there is less turbulence loss when the medium passes through. It can effectively reduce the operating energy consumption of upstream power equipment such as pumps and compressors, and improve the transportation efficiency of pipeline systems.
Relying on the pressure difference of the medium itself to achieve automatic opening and closing, without external driving devices. When the medium flows forward, the valve disc opens quickly; Once the medium flows back, the valve disc quickly closes under the back pressure, self weight, or spring assistance of the medium, with a fast response speed, which can effectively prevent the medium from flowing back and avoid damage caused by equipment water hammer impact or medium backflow.
Valve seats are often made of elastic materials (such as nitrile rubber, fluororubber) or metal hard sealing structures, which tightly adhere to the sealing surface of the valve disc. Some models adopt a dual seal design, which can adapt to the sealing requirements of different media. Whether it is low-pressure media such as clean water and sewage, or medium and high-pressure media in the petroleum and chemical fields, it can achieve good sealing and reduce the risk of leakage.
