There are various types of Industrial butterfly valve, including electric butterfly valve, pneumatic butterfly valve, manual butterfly valve, hard seal butterfly valve, soft seal butterfly valve, full PTFE butterfly valve, etc. The pressure resistance, temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and sealing performance of different types of butterfly valve vary greatly. When selecting industrial projects, if the corresponding butterfly valve products are not matched with actual working conditions, problems such as seal leakage, valve body damage, opening and closing jamming, and sudden reduction in service life are prone to occur, which will affect the stable operation of the entire pipeline system. 1. General operating conditions at room temperature and pressure: preferred for soft sealed butterfly valves

The working conditions are mainly composed of clean water and ordinary air, with no strong corrosiveness or impurity particles. The operating pressure is usually ≤ 1.6MPa, and the medium temperature is between -20 ℃ and 80 ℃. For this type of working condition, resilient seated butterfly valves are preferred, including rubber soft seal clamp butterfly valves and flange soft seal butterfly valves. Soft sealing butterfly valve use rubber sealing rings as sealing accessories, with high opening and closing degree, which can achieve zero leakage sealing effect and fully meet the sealing requirements of clean water and ventilation media.

2. High temperature and high pressure industrial conditions: hard sealed butterfly valve

In industrial scenarios such as electricity, heat, metallurgy, steam transportation, and high-temperature wastewater treatment, there are common characteristics of high temperature, high pressure, and fast medium flow rate. The core selection standard for such harsh working conditions is metal hard sealed butterfly valves. The hard sealed butterfly valve adopts a metal sealing pair structure, and the valve body, valve seat, and butterfly plate are all made of high-strength metal materials such as carbon steel and stainless steel. After precision machining and heat treatment processes, they have extremely strong resistance to high temperature, high pressure, and wear, and can adapt to frequent opening and closing operations of high temperature steam and high pressure fluids for a long time.

3. Corrosion medium working condition: fluorine lined butterfly valve

The pipeline media in industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, electroplating, and acid washing are special and often contain strong corrosive media such as acidic and alkaline solutions, organic solvents, and corrosive wastewater. The core focus of selection for these working conditions is anti-corrosion performance, and the corresponding preferred category is fluorine lined butterfly valves.
