The 100X float control valve is a widely used automatic water level control valve in municipal water supply, industrial water circulation, building water supply and reservoir storage systems. As a core hydraulic control valve, it relies on pipeline medium pressure and floating ball pilot structure to realize fully automatic water injection and shutdown without electric power or manual operation. Many project engineers and purchasers lack systematic understanding of its working logic and installation specifications, leading to overflow failure, slow water intake and blocking problems. The 100X float control valve adopts a combined structure of main valve and pilot float valve. The whole set includes valve body, valve cover, diaphragm assembly, control pipeline, floating ball and pilot valve core. Different from traditional mechanical float valves, the 100X hydraulic control valve separates the main valve from the water level sensing part. The main valve is installed on the external water inlet pipeline, while only the floating ball sensor is placed inside the water tank or reservoir. This split structural design greatly improves operational stability and facilitates daily maintenance.

Its working principle is based on hydraulic pressure difference linkage control. When the water level of the water tank drops, the floating ball falls, opening the pilot control channel. The pressure on the upper cavity of the main valve diaphragm is released, and the inlet water pressure pushes the diaphragm to lift the valve disc. The main valve opens automatically to replenish water for the tank. When the water level rises to the preset height, the floating ball rises and closes the pilot port. The upper cavity pressure of the diaphragm balances with the inlet pressure, and the valve disc closes tightly to stop water intake, realizing fully automatic constant water level control.

Standard installation specifications are key to stable operation of the 100X float control valve. First, the valve must be installed horizontally on the water inlet pipeline, with the main valve body kept outside the water tank to avoid long-term immersion corrosion. Second, the control tube and floating ball should be fixed in the stable water area of the tank, avoiding installation at water flow impact positions. Third, a filter device must be installed at the front end to prevent pipeline impurities from blocking the small pilot hole, which is the main cause of valve failure. In addition, install a pressure gauge properly to monitor pipeline pressure changes in real time.

The 100X float control valve has extremely wide application advantages. It is suitable for large-caliber and large-flow water supply scenarios that ordinary float valves cannot adapt to, including municipal water storage tanks, high-rise building secondary water supply tanks, industrial cooling towers, reservoir water level balance systems and fire water tank replenishment projects. It features large flow rate, sensitive induction, stable sealing and no water hammer impact. Meanwhile, it is completely pressure-driven, saving electric energy and reducing system operating costs.

In terms of selection and use notes, the 100X hydraulic float valve is applicable to clean water medium only, and is not suitable for sewage, slurry or corrosive liquid environments. Users need to select the corresponding caliber according to the water tank volume and water supply flow rate to avoid insufficient water replenishment efficiency. Regular cleaning of the control pipeline and pilot hole can effectively prevent blockage and ensure long-term stable automatic water level control.
