Gear box butterfly valves are particularly suitable for working conditions where the valve installation position is narrow, the operator cannot apply large torque, or the medium pressure is high, resulting in high butterfly plate resistance, making the operation more convenient and efficient.

    Characteristics

    Gear box operated butterfly valve, the valve is clamped between two pipeline flanges with double headed bolts.

    The structure is compact, small in size, and light in weight. The transmission mechanism is a worm gear, usually installed at the top of the valve. The center of the valve stem, the center of the butterfly plate, and the center of the valve body are on the same axis, designed as a concentric structure.

    Characteristics

    Advantages

    1. With only a small amount of force applied, the turbine can amplify the huge torque that drives the butterfly plate to rotate, making it easy to open/close butterfly valves with large diameters (such as DN300 or above) and high pressure differentials - avoiding the problem of "not being able to turn" when manually driving the valve stem, significantly reducing labor costs.

    2. The worm gear has a reverse self-locking function to ensure the safety and stability of the system, especially suitable for unmanned pipeline systems.

    3. The streamlined design of the butterfly plate reduces fluid resistance loss, making it an energy-saving product.

    4. The gear box are usually made of cast iron, ductile iron, or stainless steel materials, which can withstand industrial environments such as high temperature, humidity, and slight corrosion. They are highly compatible with the application scenarios of turbine butterfly valves (such as water supply and drainage, chemical industry, and electricity) and can operate stably without additional protection.
